Is there a digital camera out there that takes videos with audio?
I am looking for a digital camera that has somewhat decent video capabilities. I don’t know if I need to buy an actual flipcam, or if they make really nice camera’s that do this. I don’t want a camera that takes 30 second video clips with no sound. I want the real deal lol. Sorry, I know practically nothing about camera’s and most technology. Thanks in advance!

I’m sure most brands have that capability.
Only some cell phones have that 30 sec limit
I dont even think they exist anymore.

Look into one of the Nikon Coolpix or Canon PowerShot cameras. Those will allow for audio. And with those cameras, the maximum length of the video clip simply depends on how big a memory card you own and how much available memory you have left on the card.

almost all point and shoots/compacts from $200-$300 price range has video.

Sony Cybershots take videos with audio. If highly concerned with video with audio, it would be best to check with the salesman first before completing the purchase. There are lots of cameras that do not have video. There are also lots of cameras that may have video but no audio. Then there are some cameras that have video but for just a few seconds. The only really way to be sure about it is to test the camera for more than two minutes.
