A look into the 3D test camera rig I made to gang 2 video cameras together for a very quick test, requires two identical video cameras to attempt this create footage via this method.

cool idea mate, just curious thou…. why red and green goggles? those are normally only used to filter out particular colours (called an anaglyph)
the best way to do the 3d thing, as i undrestand it, is to shoot 2, as u have, then project them BOTH onto a screen, slightly ofset. then use glasses that are polarised differently to view in 3d.
please let me know if im wrong, this info is off the top of my head from my psychophysics class….

This is how I shoot 3D video also, and I have the same camera. I barrow a friends camera to shoot 3D video, but they aren’t the same, but it still works anyway.

Pretty cool, I shot mine on a 70mm base made of a c-stand extension and grip heads. Aligning them was indeed a pain in the ass. I ended up shooting hand-held and on auto, too.
