he made it look harder than it is.
and to the below comment, maybe the guy has never used a manual/film camera. It makes sense that someone would know about Exposure and shutter/metering/aperature before they knew how to load film coming from digital
i have people come up to me asking to see the picture after i take one, just tell them gotta wait a few days heh.

Come on, someone, …
Come on, someone, per-leeeze, is this meant to be a spoof?
If you don;t know how to load your film camera, take the camera with you when you buy the film, and ask for someone to you. You’ll pay more for that film than you might do buying elsewhere, but you won’t end up making a fool of yourself like this guy did.
So, don’t follow this video. Look for another.
And enjoy your film photography. It’s like latex-free sex. (But enjoy film safely!) (Oh, yeah: enjoy sex safely as well.)

“Learn from an …
“Learn from an expert?” I would have pushed down the winding shaft after inserting the cartridge. That’s why his film kept coming out as he was trying to get it on the take up spool. Also, there’s no reason to extend the winding arm while advancing the film onto the take up spool. You will see it turn as you’re loading it.
